There's a huge amount of apple waste every year in the UK but this autumn has witnessed a greater than usual glut in orchards and gardens up and down the country. So we decided what better opportunity to spend some time in the Wonky kitchen creating a splendid new apple chutney recipe.
With help from our friends at the Cherwell Collective, we've collected fallen and foraged apples from across our home county of Oxfordshire and are pleased to announce the launch of a limited edition 'Community Chutney'.
£1 from every sale of Wonky's Spiced Apple Chutney will go to the Cherwell Collective, supporting local groups to tackle food waste and support disadvantaged people in the community.
